This American walnut side table, aptly named after it’s resemblance to the infamous Mr. Kelly’s headwear, reveals a subtle wood grain pattern on the silk shade once the light is switched on.
This desk was designed to act as a room divider / work station. Petra has one in her office and loves it’s curves — and of course the privacy it offers. This piece is hand made in walnut, steel and plastic laminate.

Sponsored by Italian firm ‘Abet Laminati’, Petra was encouraged to utilise as many colours as she liked from their laminate range. This substantially proportioned chest of drawers features recessed side panels that eliminate the need for conventional handles.
These aluminium and mahogany cantilevered stools feature laser cut aluminium legs that slide into a hollow core mahogany form to create a compact and sturdy stool.
This low cost kitchen was designed using off-the-shelf cabinets, simple two-pack painted doors and quality hardware. It was delivered on site flat packed, where Petra assembled and installed it along with new bench tops and appliances.
This wall mounted desk features a mini fluorescent lamp and is finished in walnut and plastic laminate. It mounts directly to the wall, seemingly defying gravity — and eliminating any visual clutter created by legs and cables.
All the furniture in this boys’ bedroom was hand made by Petra as a complete set for lucky toddler Lyle. Needless to say he was pretty impressed with his ‘big-boy bed’.
This imposing chest of drawers stands over two metres tall. It is all custom fabricated by hand from American walnut and features polished steel legs.
This long, lean vanity features semi-recessed basins with cabinetry finished in American walnut and off-white, two-pack painted doors.
Furniture, lighting and artwork all come together in a rich combination of new and existing elements inside this meticulously restored traditional home. Dining table, side table and the cabinetry surrounding the fireplace in the living room, were all hand made by Petra.
These stackable storage cabinets are constructed from hard maple and steel. The units have doors on both sides finished in plastic laminate, that enable central placement within a larger space. (If the radical op-art graphics aren’t to your taste, the reverse side features plain coloured doors, offering a far more sedate experience.)
This room features a long built-in headboard that incorporates individual drawers, shelving and lighting. Also complementing this on the other side of the room is a tall boy. All pieces are cherry wood, custom designed and manufactured by hand.
